The Texas Homeless Education Office (THEO) is committed to ensuring that all Texas children in homeless situations have the opportunity to enroll in, attend, and succeed in school.
THEO offers training on the educational rights of children and families of homeless to a wide variety of audiences, including professional development and in-service seminars for school districts. Resources hosted on the website are available free of charge.

Stipulations of the McKinney-Vento Act homeless populations and the Texas State Education code is also listed here for reference. A current Texas McKinney-Vento listing of all grant recipients, Local Educational Agency (LEA) contacts, and a list of the homeless liaisons are available for review and consult.
